According to Hinduism, Lord Shiva resides on top of Mount Kailas, where he sits in a state of meditation along with his wife Parvati, the daughter of Himalaya. The Kailas Parvat is believed to be the ultimate destination of souls and the spiritual center of the world.
The Kailas & Manasarovar region in western Tibet attracts the sincere Buddhist, Hindu, Jain & Bon devotees to worship in the icy waters. The entrance of Mt. Kailas is a 6,656 meters high with the increasing numbers of adventurers coming here to admire the spectacular view of nature.
Mt. Kailas, claimed to be the apex of the Hindu religious axis is also one of the highest mountain in Tibet at 22,020 feet, and Lake Mansarovar at 14,950 feet is said to be the highest freshwater lake in the world.

Itinerary
Day 01:
Arrival at Tribhuvan international airport / Kathmandu, our staff will meet at the airport then transfer to Hotel, evening dinner & tour orientation, hotel room on twin sharing basis,



Day 02:
Kathmandu Sightseeing & Drive to Kodari morning after breakfast, visit to Pashupatinath temple and Budhanilkantha temple (sleeping Vishnu), lunch at hotel, and then proceed to Kodari border, dinner & overnight at Tatopani (Nepal-China border).
Pashupatinath: is one of the most significant Hindu temples of Lord Shiva in the world, located on the banks of the Bagmati River in the eastern part of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.
Budhanilkantha: In the village of Budhanilkantha lies a 5 meter tall sleeping Vishnu (Jala Sayana) in the middle of a small pond, overnight at Kailas Manasarovar Guesthouse or Similar (dormitory room)
Kathmandu to Kodari - 120 km (4 hrs & half). 
DAY 03 -
Cross the border and drive to Nyalam (3750m)
Morning at early breakfast in Kodari, then proceed to China by walk through friendship Bridge, meet our guide in China border Complete immigration formalities then we proceed towards Nyalam.
It takes approximately an hour & half to reach Nyalam, the distance from the friendship bridge to Nyalam is near about 32 
km. Overnight at Guesthouse (Nyalam guesthouse or Shishapangma guesthouse or similar) - dormitory room Kodari - Nyalam: 32 km (one and half hour) 
DAY 04 -
Rest & Acclimatization in Nylam
Today, we are free in Nyalam for acclimatization purpose. It is better if we go for a short hiking above Nyalam village. This will help us to be acclimatized in new atmosphere. Overnight at Guesthouse (Nyalam guesthouse or Shishapangma guesthouse or similar) - dormitory room
DAY 05 -
Drive Nyalam to New Dongba (4500m)
After breakfast, we drive to Dongba, en route, we will be passing through Lalung-La Pass (5100m.), Milarepa cave &
Lake Peiku then eventually cross the bridge built over River Brahmaputra in Saga, continue drive further to Dongba after Saga. Lunch will be served on the way, dinner and overnight in guesthouse at Dongba.
Overnight at Guesthouse - - dormitory room Nyalam to New Dongba: 357 km (6 hrs drive)
DAY 06 -
Drive New Dongba to Lake Manasarovar (Hor Chu) - 4550m; 369 km Today is the highlighted day of this journey. We are going to reach the holy Lake Manasarovar & Mt. Kailash which is our ultimate goal. On the way, we will drive through the highest motorable pass of this journey (Mayum-La; 5200m), lunch will be served somewhere near Hor Chu River before the Mayum-La pass. Dinner & overnight stay will be at tented camp on the eastern shore of Lake Manasarovar.  Overnight at tented camp or guesthouse - dormitory room New Dongba to Lake Manasarovar: 369 km (6 hrs drive) 
DAY 07 -
Lake Manasarovar Parikrama by Jeep & then drive to Darchen (88 km) Morning after breakfast, we will drive around the Lake Manasarovar (clockwise) then continue to Darchen. After keeping
our luggage in the guesthouse, we will drive to Ashtapad (optional tour) & return back to Darchen in the evening, overnight at guesthouse - dormitory room Manasarovar parikrama (88 km/55 miles) - 1 & half hour 
DAY 08:-
Start Parikrama to Dira Phuk (4920 m) Morning after breakfast we will drive to Yama Dwar (15 minutes drive). From Yama Dwar, you will start trekking to Dira Phuk (north face of Kailash); 18 km / 5 hrs. Overnight at guesthouse or tented camp Darchen to Yama Dwar – 10 km (30 minutes) Trek, Yama Dwar to Dira Phuk – 18 km (5 hrs) 
DAY 09:-
Trek Shiva Sthal - GAurikund - Zuthulphuk (4820m)
This is the toughest day of parikrama. The journey, right from the beginning, starts going uphill till Dolma-La (5600m.)
then continue descending to the valley floor, the other side of Dolma pass. The last leg of the journey is along the riverbank up to Zuthulphuk. The highlights of the day are Shiva Sthal, Dolma-La and Gaurikund which are on the way. Overnight at mud house or tented camp - dormitory room Dira Phuk to Zuthulphuk (22 km - 9 hours).
DAY 10: -
End Trek then drive to Lake Manasarovar Today, the trail is easy & flat, so you will complete the journey within 3 to 4 hours. You will be picked up at the ending point near Darchen then transferred to Lake Manasarovar (east side). Overnight at tented camp or guesthouse - dormitory room Zuthulphuk to ending point (11 km, 3 hrs trek) ending point to Lake Manasarovar: 35 km (1 hr drive)
DAY 11:-
Back to New Dongba have a last look of Mt. Kailash & Lake Manasarovar then proceed for new Dongba. Overnight at tented camp or guesthouse - dormitory room lake
Manasarovar to New Dongba: 369 km  (6 hrs drive)
DAY 12 -
back to Nyalam via the same route. Overnight at Guesthouse (Nyalam guesthouse or Shishapangma guesthouse or similar) - dormitory room New Dongba to Nyalam: 357 km (6 hrs drive)

Day 13:
back to Kathmandu morning after breakfast drive down to Zhangmu, cross over the Friendship Bridge then drive back to Kathmandu. Lunch will be served on the way. Evening dinner and rest overnight at Hotel (room on twin sharing basis) Kodari to Kathmandu - 115 km (4 hrs & half).
Day 14:
Departure
Transfer to international airport in Kathmandu for your flight back home.
