Most of the Khajuraho temples
were built between 950 and 1050 by the Chandela dynasty, Historical records
note that the Khajuraho temple site had 85 temples by the 12th century, spread
over 20 square kilometers. Out of these, only about 20 temples have survived,
spread over 6 square kilometers, of the various surviving temples, the
Kandariya Mahadeva Temple is decorated with a profusion of sculptures with
intricate details, symbolism and expressiveness of ancient Indian art.

DAY 01:-
On
arrival at Delhi, you will be welcomed by a representative from our office who
will assist you with your hotel transfer and will explain your tour program in
detail after arriving at the hotel, overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 02:-
New Delhi is the capital of
India and is one of the most modern and vibrant cities in the country along
with a glorious historical past. You can stroll down the wide roads and enjoy
the architecture of the high-rise buildings that provides a contemporary feel
to the city and you can enjoy a stroll down the streets of the old city to
understand the way of life in the bygone era through the narrow lanes and
ancient havelis.
Proceed to sightseeing at Jama Masjid, Red Fort,
Qutab Miner, President’s House, India Gate, Memorial of Mahatma Gandhi and Birla
Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel
DAY 03:-
Drive
to the city of Jaipur after breakfast and check into a hotel. Proceed to
sightseeing of the pink city Jaipur which is also the capital of Rajasthan.
Founded in 1727 the city today is one of the most vibrant cities in the state
of Rajasthan with a glorious historical past. Overnight stay at hotel
DAY 04:-
You
will visit the Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, Nahargarh Fort, Jaigarh Fort, City
Palace, Jal Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Albert Hall Museum, Central Museum and Rambagh
Palace. Jaipur is not just a pink city but is also one of the prettiest cities
in India surrounded by hills and enclosed by embattled walls.
Day 05:-
After
breakfast depart to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri which was built by Emperor Akbar in
the 16th century. Also known as the city of victory this was the capital of the
Mogul Empire for about 10 years. The city is home to several historical
monuments of various architectural styles and is home to one of the largest
mosques in India, the Jama Masjid. After sightseeing at Fatehpur Sikri
drive to the city of Agra.
Day 06 – Agra
On this day, you will see the eternal symbol of
love the Taj Mahal. After breakfast you can marvel at the beauty of Taj Mahal
built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved departed wife Mumtaz Mahal.
Build over a period of 15 years starting in 1631 and ending in 1653 the Taj
Mahal was built in numerous stages and comprises of a mosque, minarets,
gateways and jawab. Also famous for the stunning white marble used for
construction the Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, overnight stay at hotel in Agra.
Day 07:-
Departure to Gwalior after breakfast. Gwalior is one of the most historically
important cities of Madhya Pradesh and the new section of the city is known as
Lashkar. Lashkar is located few kilometers to the southern side of Gwalior. You
can enjoy the beautiful architecture of the Gwalior Fort that has been built
completely by sandstone and dominates the skyline of the city. With magnificent
outer walls, the fort has been the scene of numerous battles, historical events
and famous imprisonments.
After lunch, drive to Orchha, overnight stay at Orchha.
Day 08:-
After breakfast,
you will visit Orchha, which is a small and peaceful town, located on the banks
of the Betwa River. The Chief of the Bundela rulers, Rudrapratap founded the
town in about 1501 AD. The town today is a tiny farming town with several
historical sites of great importance. You will visit the Fort complex, Raj
Mahal, Parveen Mahal and other temples located in Orchha. You can also visit
the 14 Memorials or Chattris on the Kanchan Ghat alongside the Betwa River.
After lunch you will depart to Khajuraho, check into a hotel on arrival in Khajuraho. You will enjoy the beautiful light and sound show in the evening organized by the State tourism Department, overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 09:-
Khajuraho is one of the most historically famous cities in India and consist of
the popular Khajuraho temples that were built during the ruling period of the
Chadela rulers between 950 and 1050 AD. You will visit the Western group of temples
and the Eastern group of temples of the Khajuraho temples.
You will return to the hotel for lunch and then
proceed to visit the beautiful Raneh waterfalls that is located about 25 km
from Khajuraho. In the evening, you can enjoy the local cultural folk dance
organized by the State tourism Department, overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10:- After breakfast checkout from the hotel and
proceed to railway station/airport
